Terms of Service

1. What FamilyCents is

FamilyCents (operated by Blueprint Consulting AI LLC) is a family financial-education service: chore tracking with virtual allowance, savings goals, and an age-banded money curriculum, available on the web at app.familycents.app and as an iOS app. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Not a bank, not financial advice

Balances, earnings, and goals in FamilyCents are a tracking tool for your family — not real money. We hold no funds, move no funds, issue no cards, and connect to no financial accounts. Any real-world allowance you pay your kids happens entirely outside the app, between you and them. Lesson content is general education, not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.

3. Accounts

• Accounts may be created only by an adult parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for the account and for the accuracy of the information they enter about their children.
• Children use the app only through profiles inside a parent's account, under the parent's supervision and consent.
• Keep your password and parent PIN confidential; you're responsible for activity under your account.
• You must not use FamilyCents for anything unlawful, attempt to break or probe its security, abuse other users, or resell the service.

4. Subscriptions & billing

• FamilyCents membership is sold as a monthly or annual auto-renewing subscription (with a free trial where offered) or a one-time lifetime purchase.
• Web purchases are billed by Stripe; manage or cancel any time from Settings → Manage Billing. iOS purchases are billed by Apple to your Apple Account; manage or cancel in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Apple purchases are also governed by Apple's standard EULA and refund policies.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Trials convert to paid unless cancelled before the trial ends.
• Prices may change prospectively; we'll notify you before a renewal at a new price.

5. Your content & our content

The information you enter (names, chores, goals) stays yours; you grant us the limited license needed to store and display it back to your family — that's all we do with it. The FamilyCents software, curriculum, and branding are ours (or our licensors') and are protected by law; we grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use them through the service.

6. Termination

You can stop using FamilyCents and delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete Account & Data). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service. Sections 2, 5, 7, and 8 survive termination.

7. Disclaimers

FamilyCents is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-interruption. We work hard to keep the service reliable, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Blueprint Consulting AI LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
